  • Drosera aff fulva x brevicornis

    Drosera aff fulva x brevicornis

This hybrid could easily pass as a pure type D. ordensis, even though neither parent is an ordensis. Maybe the affinity has the ordensis gene? It is very hard to determine which characteristics were inherited from either parent. It really makes ya understand how pure species evolved from hybrids. These interesting attributes make this a very unique plant. The best quality of this plant is the older leaves will stain orange, perfectly matching the bright orange traps This is a very fun and easy plant to grow.

  • Drosera broomensis x ordensis

    Drosera broomensis x ordensis

This is a great hybrid and it gets HUGE! So far my mother plant has gotten 5 inches tall and 5 inches wide and she is only close to being a year old. The leaves are white from dendritic hairs which it has obviously inherited from its pollen parent (ordensis). They are long and thin like its seed parent (broomensis). The traps are a bright red which favors ordensis but their shape is an almost perfect combination of both parents. It is a very easy plant to grow and so worth it.

  • Drosera darwinensis x ordensis

    Drosera darwinensis x ordensis

This another hybrid that has amazed us. It doesn't matter what humidity it is grown in, it will produce a lot of hair on its wide leaves turning them white. Then for no reason, it will change its mind and green hairless leaves will grow from the center. It repeats this cycle over and over. There is no setting a watch by it tho. It changes whenever it wants. The only thing that does stay consistent are the big round traps that easily produce dew.

    Purchase options are:

Bare-root - plant is sold without soil and is carefully packaged.

  • Drosera fulva x darwinensis

    Drosera fulva x darwinensis

This plant shows more of its pollen parent darwinensis rather than its seed parent - fulva. Its long slender green leaves that lead to large traps really make it look more like some forms of Drosera kenneallyi. All it would need is some Drosera falconeri shaped traps, then it really would. Makes you really think about the evolution of the Drosera kenneallyi and if this hybrid could be the building blocks to it. This hybrid, however, has nice large oval-shaped traps much like darwinensis, but the pad bowls which was inherited from its fulva parent. Its new leaves grow erect like fulva but begin to lay flat to the ground like darwinensis. This hybrid tends to bloom in late summer. It does divide.

  • Drosera caduca 'Bachsten Creek'

    Drosera caduca 'Bachsten Creek'

This plant is unique in our collection mainly because it is the only Drosera caduca we have in our inventory. It truly stands out with its tall wide green grass leaves. It is carnivorous when young, but loses its traps when it gets older. This gives it an even more distinctive look when it comes to a sundew, but that also makes it look exactly like grass - a master in camouflage. This plant is very easy to grow. It does like humidity to be a bit higher than other wooly sundews due to its hairless leaves.
